Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. -Philippians 4:8 (Bible, King James Version)
Proverb for the Day - Cause of Six Bad Things
This is a bit late, but it is the Proverb for the day (two days late) for Friday, April 23, 2010. So here I am in Proverbs 23 - which verse should I pick for this day? How about verse 29. It seems to be a sad verse, but it is in Proverbs. It asks who has woe, sorrow, contentions, complaints, wounds without cause, or redness of eyes. I guess we will have to wait until next month to find out or you could read the next verse (verse 30) and find out early.

Actually I like the later verse, where it says about sting like a serpent.
ReplyDeleteLaurie, there are several outstanding blogs in the same niche as yours:
http://itakeoffthemask.com/ (There is a post about Why God doesn't give us our desire)
http://www.jungleoflife.com/ (Some of the posts touch me very deeply)
Thank you for this information. I have been thinking about starting a few more blogs and sorting out the information. I think that will maybe be done somewhere down the line because I want to do it in an organized way. I do not want to have too many loose ends to take care of.
