A Relationship to Mimic

I was thinking about the words that Jesus used just before he went to the cross to describe his relationship with God the Father. He said that He said or did nothing without the Father's approval. How amazing that is to me. I was thinking about the controversy that many Christians have about submitting and marriage and the like. Suddenly I thought about how submitting for Jesus was a way of life but He still felt perfectly comfortable to have dialogue with the Father about how He felt about going through pain and suffering and dying on the cross. Even though the plan was set, the Father still was approachable and there was relationship between the Father and the Son. The Father did not just boom down to Jesus to "submit." How great is the love that the Father has for the Son and that the Son has for the Father. We will spend a lifetime learning about that love because it has no limits.
