Proverb For The Day - Money

Today is Thursday, April 15, 2010. Today is the deadline for people to file their taxes in the United States. This seems to be a good Proverb for tax day deadline taken from Proverbs 15: 6 from the New King James Version

It talks about if you are a righteous person, there is a lot of treasure in your house. On the other hand, if you are a wicked or evil person, the money that you have attained will only bring trouble. Here is a little talk about principle in our world. This proverb is not talking about money being evil. It is talking about the person who handles it with evil intention or righteous intention. How do you figure out what righteousness looks like? There are many Proverbs written on what righteousness looks like. Since Jesus Christ was righteous, the Proverbs can also help us to see what he was like. Who would have thought that Jesus could be defined in the Proverbs.

Once again here is a proverb that talks about righteousness. When we accept Jesus into our life and follow His Word, we become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and our house is filled with much treasure.
